Get the Most Gorgeous, Long-Lasting Tan
A little preparation goes a long way! Follow these simple tips before and after your spray tan to help your color develop beautifully, fade evenly, and last as long as possible.
✨BEFORE YOUR SPRAY TAN
Plan your nails first.
If you’re getting a manicure or pedicure, be sure to do it before your spray tan.
Keep your skin moisturized.
Moisturize daily during the week leading up to your appointment. Well-hydrated skin helps your tan develop more evenly and last longer.
Exfoliate & shave 12–24 hours before your appointment.
Gently exfoliate your entire body and shave the day before whenever possible. This creates a smooth, fresh canvas for your tan.
Wax at least 48 hours before your spray tan.
Give your skin plenty of time to calm down after waxing before your appointment.
Come with clean, product-free skin.
On the day of your appointment, please arrive without lotion, makeup, deodorant, perfume, or oils on your skin. Makeup-removing wipes are available upon request.
Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
You may tan nude (except for males), in underwear, or in a swimsuit. Choose whatever you’re most comfortable wearing.
🤎 AFTER YOUR SPRAY TAN
Dress for your gorgeous new glow.
Bring dark, loose-fitting clothing to change into after your tan. Loose pants, a relaxed top, and flip-flops are ideal.
Avoid tight clothing while your tan develops.
If possible, skip your bra and other tight-fitting clothing until your tan has fully processed.
Keep the sweat away.
Avoid workouts or activities that may cause sweating until your tan has completely processed and you’re ready to shower.
Be gentle with your skin.
Use a gentle, paraben- and sulfate-free body wash. Avoid bar soaps and exfoliating products until you’re ready to remove your tan.
Limit soaking.
Baths, swimming pools, hot tubs, and prolonged water exposure can cause your tan to fade more quickly or unevenly.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!
Once you’ve showered, keep your skin hydrated with a paraben-, sulfate-, and alcohol-free lotion. Moisturizing at least twice a day will help extend the life of your beautiful glow.

How long will my spray tan last?
Most tans last approximately 7–10 days, depending on your skin, skincare routine, and how well you follow your aftercare.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely! Hello Gorgeous is licensed and insured for your safety and peace of mind.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes. A $10 cancellation fee applies to cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
What type of solution do you use?
Our tanning solution is plant-, sugar-, and fruit-based, vegan, Eco-Certified DHA, nut-free, gluten-free, and never tested on animals.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay.
